YouTube is now one of the most distracting platform on the
internet, due to its large amount of content that is uploaded
on a regular basis and also because it is easier to use than,
say, read articles on Medium. We can go there to watch
something, but there can be many comments, or recommended
videos on the side that take up a lot of our attention and our
time. We may not even be aware and simply go and open another
video in a new tab, which can lead to two or three other
related videos opened. This downward spiral wastes our time
and energy and as a result, we are not inspired to work and
work on our projects, or dedicate our efforts on important
things.
One great thing about Github is that you have the issues section, in which you can see recommendations or requests for help related to a particular project. There you can find many comments, where developers may be complaining about a bug, offering a solution, or simply pointing out something they want to see included in the project. If you want to quickly navigate through these comments and jump right into the ones that have had considerable reactions, then you can try to install this Chrome extension.
