There can be cases when you want to be able to mute a certain tab, as you are not interested in hearing any sound from it. You may simply be interested in reading a paragraph and do not want to get bothered about the sound of the autoplay videos, or ads that are part in that page.
There is a way that you can do that in Chrome, without having to install any third party extension.
You can do that by going to:
chrome://flags/#enable-tab-audio-muting
Then you need to just enable this option:
Sound content setting
That is all you need to do. Now, you can simply continue using it without having to worry about taking the time to go and pause these videos or having to mute the voice in entire your device.
