You may sometimes need to make sure two files are equal, but do not know how to do it. For example, you may need to make sure two images, PDFs or two pieces of text are equal, but find it very difficult to do it manually. There is a really simple tool that I personally use that I find it really helpful.
DiffChecker is a really cool web application that you can use to do these type of comparisons. It offers a really simple layout and does not require you to register to use its service, although you can register. All you have to do is choose the files or the texts that you want to compare and hit the Find Difference button. You will then be able to see whether there is any type of difference.
You can also store the comparison for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 month or forever. This way you get a URL or can refer back to it later on, or simply have it ready for a quick demonstration to your colleague and then delete it.
