One of our human needs is the desire to be heard. One really nice place to do that publicly is Medium, where you can reach a large audience with your writing. Especially now that they have started to promote articles.
However, one thing that is a bit tedious in doing there is inserting GitHub Gists. It is long, tedious and takes a long time. When you need to update a snippet that you have inserted, you need to go back to the gist page, find that particular snippet, edit it, and then expect the changes to be reflected on the Medium article that you have written.
Luckily, there is a quick way that you can do that: a Chrome and Firefox plugin called Code Medium.
You do not need to open another tab in your browser, but simply manage the snippets inside the editor that you use to write the articles.
Moreover, it is open source. You can find its code on GitHub.
Check out the Code Medium, available for Chrome and Firefox.
I hope this saves you time and makes your writing even more enjoyable.
